About this guide

At the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, we deal with the discrimination complaints that the Canadian Human Rights Commission decides to send us. Since our process is different from theirs, we have prepared a guide to help you understand it.

This guide does not provide legal advice. It only explains how we work. We have done our best to explain legal terms and make this guide easy to read. If what we wrote in this guide does not match the meaning of the law, you must follow the law.
